Join us for our second annual women's only beginner Lake Michigan Surf + Yoga retreat co-led with Lindsay from Shores yoga Studio and Bom Dia threads. This retreat is for those wanting to learn how to surf or already know how to surf and want to join in on the fun. You will receive a lesson and time on the water to surf. Restore after with yoga, a dip in the hot tub and connection around the fire. Expect a fun group of girls that you can walk away with calling a friend.

Relax in this beautiful, newly renovated home has 5 bedrooms,4 bathrooms, a heated/cooled Cabana, over-sized hot tub. This home in Michigan City is located across from historic Washington park with access to Lake Michigan. This is an adventure seekers paradise. Close to state parks, endless beaches, wineries and more, we have created a retreat to treat you to excitement, relaxation, connection, mindfulness, and fun!

Friday
Arrive after 4pm to our home for the weekend and settle in. A healthy dinner is scheduled for 6:30pm. We will get a chance to meet like minded people and set our intentions for the weekend ahead. There will be some fun planned to interact, grow and connect.Activities are optional and created to have all fitness levels enjoy! Come as you are! The order of activities and fun being served up will depend on mother-nature and what she decides works best ;-)
Saturday
8am -We will start our day with a morning yoga session to prep us for our surfing adventure. Following yoga, we will enjoy breakfast and discussion. Then we will head out for our surf lesson on the beaches of Lake Michigan. Post surf/beach- we will grab a lunch (purchased) and exploration in town and/or relax back at the house.
Free play-After lunch feel free to have time to do what your heart desires.
We will take in a dinner and time to connect back at the house. There will also be time to treat our sore muscles to a soak in the hot tub and relax around the fire pit!
Sunday
Start your day with sunrise intentions and journaling or get a little more sleep and join in for a walk. A warm, healthy breakfast is offered afterwards with morning discussion session that includes mindful daily practices and rituals such as breath-work and meditation. Following breakfast, we will have a chance to connect with one last adventure before we depart with wonderful experiences and memories to last a lifetime.
As we journey home, we can reflect on a weekend of unforgettable memories, friendships and incredible personal leaps forward.
*Surfing is not guaranteed, however during this time of year there is a high chance of waves. Unless the weather is unsafe, surfing will include a land lesson, paddling lesson and hopefully some wave riding.
**It is recommenced to bring your own surf or SUP board and wetsuit if you own one but not required (rentals are included).

SOLD OUT!! Women's Kentucky SUP Retreat August 9-11
Reset and Recharge, Play and Laugh.... This river-front property with a boat dock in the backyard is the perfect setting for the first out of state women's sup retreat. We will be partnering with Meg Grady of Kentucky by Paddle for her knowledge, expertise of the area, and overall fun loving attitude.
On this adventure, you will have a chance to relax, play and explore the area by water way and by land to work on your own personal growth journey. We will have a chance to do some cave paddling in the Grayson Lake State Park. All activities, equipment rentals and meals are included, with extra touches to make your stay fun and special. You are free to pick and choose what makes your heart and soul happy.
Friday
Early availability on Friday any time after 3 pm. Upon arrival to our river retreat, you will be greeted by Julie and Meg and be able to get settled into your room and introductions. A healthy meal awaits your arrival and so does adventure. We will be heading out to learn and practice some basic paddle-boarding right in our own back yard. This is for all levels - and you can do as much or as little as you are up for. We will conclude with time for retreat to rest and reflect.
Early start- sunrise intentions, walk and/or stretch. A warm, healthy breakfast is offered at the River home with morning discussion. Following breakfast there will be an educational session on mindfulness, then an appointment with adventure!
We will be heading to paddle and tour the Grayson Lake State Park. This is a gorgeous and scenic paddle. We will pack lunches for day's adventure. The late afternoon will include another activity for all to enjoy and opportunities for growth and humility abound! It’s so fun to learn something new and connect in the nature that provides us those lessons. There will be time to get a little break from our activities to explore, shop (individuals will cover the costs of their own shopping indulgences ;-)for this outing. We will have dinner, relaxation and meaningful dialogue as we return to our river home.
Early start-sunrise intentions, walk and/or stretch. A healthy and hearty breakfast at the river home will be offered and then packing and gathering belongings to commence following breakfast to make our 11am checkout. Feedback and emails are welcome along with the opportunity for continued accountability and training.
We will set out for a last adventure as a group prior to the drive home to stretch and engage the legs and have our parting thoughts in nature on a hike amongst and in caverns. A healthy lunch will be offered to take on your journey home, along with a weekend of unforgettable memories, friendships and incredible personal leaps forward.
